It was about an hour away from where I live and I ran with my old youth pastor. The race was a lot of fun and they raised over $6,000 for Compassion International! That's what I'm talking about!
I really believe in what Compassion does, so it was neat to run for a purpose and an organization that I've seen do so much good in this world.
I also really like the 10k distance. A lot.
And running in general. :)
A good way to start out a year full of running, hopefully!
